Meet Dr. Jones

Dr. Richard Jones II has maintained a thriving orthodontic practice in the Geist area since 1995. He received his B.A. while playing college football from DePauw University in 1989. He graduated from Indiana University School of Dentistry in 1993. Dr. Jones completed his Orthodontic Residency at the University of Minnesota in 1995. He conducted his orthodontic research at the University of Minnesota and the Mayo Clinic.

After receiving his masters and orthodontic degree, he opened his practice in the Geist area. Dr. Jones is a member of Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. He has presented award winning research in Boston and St. Louis. Dr. Jones has been published and featured in articles in the Journal of Clinical Orthodontics and "Ask the Doctor' section of the Indianapolis Star. He has also appeared on Fox 59 News.

Dr. Jones continues to expand his knowledge through attending continuing educational courses and memberships in several professional organizations, including American Association of Orthodontics, Great Lakes Association of Orthodontics, American Dental Association, Indiana Dental Association, Indianapolis Dental District Society, and local orthodontic study clubs.

While Dr. Jones is away from the office, he enjoys spending time with his wife Teresa and their three children. In his spare time, Dr. Jones enjoys coaching his children's sports teams, running, traveling and reading.
