We are always excited about meeting new patients at our office! During this appointment, you will 1st be greeted by our fabulous front office team. After our warm tropical welcome to all, our treatment coordinator will take you on a tour of our underwater themed office and then to your special exam room. She will then review your personal information and health history. Dr. Jones will then conduct a thorough examination of your face, mouth, teeth and jaws. If Dr. Jones indicates that treatment is needed, he will address the nature of the orthodontic problem(s), the types of treatment required and the estimated length of treatment time. Once all questions have been asked to our great doctor, our treatment coordinator will then provide you with an examination report, visual information about records, appliances, etc and the estimated cost of treatment. She will explain to you our payment options we offer in house and discuss with you any orthodontic insurance that you may have on the patient. The finances will be discussed and determined prior to leaving the orthodontic appointment.
If Dr. Jones recommends treatment to begin, diagnostic records will be taken. We have reserved time following the exam for you to have x-rays, photos and impressions taken for study models that are necessary for confirming Dr. Jones treatment plan. As soon as the diagnostic records are taken, you can schedule the orthodontic appointment with the treatment coordinator to start the braces process.
